March Monthly Meeting Wrap-up
Our was held on March 26, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. It was our annual Dessert Night and what a delectable spread arrived. Rodney Collymore headed up the judging panel and declared Yvonne Primavera the winner with her exquisite Pineapple Coconut cake. Congratulations and thank you to Yvonne and to all the members that brought desserts.

Officer Position Available
South Shore Corvette Club member Eileen Casey has resigned as our Officer-at-Large due to personal reasons.  We all want to thank Eileen for her two years of handling our club's Store inventory and ordering personalized items of interest for our members.
 
According to the by-lays, the position needs to be filled within two months. We are accepting nominations from now until our next business meeting on April 30th, at which time a vote will be held and we will elect a new Officer-at-Large.  If you would like to be considered, please let any of the officers know, and we will add your name to the ballot. You can email the officers here.
 
below are the responsibilities of the Officer-at-Large as stated in the by-laws.  The responsibilities are more than ordering shirts, etc.  This officer steps in to fill the position of any officer if and when necessary. If you would like further explanation, contact Elaine Kemp at 617-872-8252.
 
Section 6 – Duties of the Officer-at-Large
• Temporarily fill any vacancy caused by the absence of any officer.
• Perform duties of President only in the absence of both the President and the Vice-President.
• Coordinate all “Store” activities, orders, monies, merchandise.
