Carlisle Wrap-up
SSCC was well represented in Carlisle, PA for the annual Corvettes of Carlisle. If you have never been, it is the mecca of Corvettedom. There are acres and acres of everything Corvette. New parts, old parts, rusty parts, clean parts, waxes, buffers, zip ties, tires, exhausts, wheels, lifts, shirts and even sox. Yes, sox. And we can't forget the people. There are tens of thousands Corvette fanatics. And they all bring their Corvettes. I saw a Corvette hearse pulling a casket trailer. Even I can't make this up.
. And heat, Carlisle is also know for heat. This year it was not as stifling as in years past. And the humidity was below 100 percent. So all in all, 2008 was a great year to go to Carlisle. We hope to see more members make the trip next year.
