Recognition Dinner, Monponsett Inn
More than eighty members attended the Recognition Dinner at the Monponsett Inn. It was a fitting end to the official Corvette season. As usual the staff at the Monponsett Inn provided great service and delicious food.
We were honored with the attendance of Liz Bertrand and her family. This year’s Rich Bertrand Award for Service to the SSCC went to Carol Santacross who continues to work tirelessly for the club. This year she again conducted the Garage Tour and the Bug Juice Rally. We all appreciate the hard work Carol puts in for the club.
All the members that have work on projects were recognized with a certificate of appreciation. This year, we changed the raffle and had numerous prizes, many donated by local businesses and our club members. We used to proceeds of the raffle to fund our cash donations to the local food pantries. Thank you to all who came to end the year in style. We look forward to seeing you in January at the next SSCC meeting at the Weymouth Elks.
