The Humarock Horribles Parade
Saturday, September 1, 2007 – “Rain or Shine”

¬ Meet at Kohl’s at Routes 3 & 139 at the Stop & Shop Plaza at 12:00 noon.
¬ Depart for Humarock promptly at 12:15 pm.
¬ Parade begins at 1:30 pm.

1. Overview
The "Horribles" Parade is an annual event held in Humarock (Marshfield). The parade route is the entire length of Humarock along Central Avenue with a small loop near the end, a distance of approximately 2.6 miles. Many participants dress in costumes and the kids along the parade route just love candy, so feel free to dress up and toss candy to the kids!

2. Directions To Kohl’s at the Stop & Shop Plaza in Pembroke
A. From Route 3:
Take Exit 12 off Route 3. At the bottom of the ramp, follow the sign toward Pembroke/Hanover. Do not head toward Marshfield! Kohl’s is located in the Stop & Shop Plaza approximately a quarter-mile from the bottom of the ramp. The plaza is on the left. If you pass a Burger King on your right, turn around because you are heading in the wrong direction! HEADS-UP!!!…It will be Saturday of Labor Day weekend so mid-day traffic
on Route 3 may be nasty!

B. From Route 53.
Take Route 53 south through Norwell and Hanover past Hanover Mall (on the left), Starland (on the left) and Super Shaw’s (on the right). Continue on Route 53 into Pembroke. Bear left on Route 139. Continue on Route 139 to the Stop & Shop Plaza and Kohl’s. The plaza is on the right. If you pass the Mobil gas station on your right, turn around because you have gone too far!

3. Donation To SSCC
SSCC will receive a $100 donation for participating in the parade courtesy of 
Chris Bell and Humming Rock Gifts, our parade sponsor.

4. Post-Parade “Eats”
After the parade, we will head back to Jamie’s Grille & Pub on Route 139 in Marshfield 
across from Kohl’s & Stop & Shop in Pembroke. A headcount will be taken at the parade staging area.
