The big new of the evening was the change of venue for our summer cruise night. After three years at the Abington Walmart, we are moving to the Monponsett Inn. Walmart asked the club to donate to their charity. The amount they were looking for far exceeds the annual revenues of the club. An emergency officers meeting was called to try to find a venue that had adequate and safe parking, bathroom facilities, electrical power for the DJ and finally, access to food and drink.
We
considered many local business and restaurants.
Joe Amante made contact with the Monponsett Inn
and not only would they permit us to use their
parking lot, but they welcomed us with open
arms. The owner is a Vette owner!
