The Election Results are IN
Even with the Red Sox as competition, the SSCC conducted its election of officers for the coming year. CBS news did exit polling outside the Elks and amazingly, they were very accurate. Next years officers are:
Terry Partridge, President
Steve Boyajian, Vice President
Joe Teamer, Secretary
Jim Johnson, Treasurer
Joe Amante, Public Relations Director
Eileen Casey, Officer-at-Large
Bill Wenzel, Web Site Director

All of the members would like to thank and congratulate the retiring officers for a terrific year. Jack Donnelly has been a patient, calm, caring, and energetic president. Merrill Cain, retiring after 17 years of keeping the SSCC books balanced, gave his final financial report. When asked about his long tenure, Merrill said even after 17 years, he still got a bit nervous when he had to read the numbers. And we cannot forget our outgoing secretary Carol Santacross. Not only did Carol keep us informed about both the SSCC events and other Corvette related activities, but she planned and coordinated the Fall Weekend Getaway and the wildly successful Bug Juice Rally.

This meeting was also our annual Halloween meeting. First place was taken by Eileen Casey and second place by our incoming treasurer Jim Johnson.

We would like to thank all the members that brought food for the pot-luck supper. We had a marvelous spread.
