Events
The annual "Corvettes Conquer Cancer" event was held
in Nashua, NH on August 11, and Alan and Elaine Kemp,
and Mal Smith and Joe Woodard attended. This is
extremely well attended by clubs and individuals from
all over New England to raise money for well-known
Ben Labaree's continuing fight against cancer.
In just the last 3 years, this dinner/dance, held in
an airplane hangar in Nashua, has raised more than
$35,000 to combat this disease which has impacted the
lives, in one way or another, of all of us.
Gate City Corvette Club, the host for this event,
does a fantastic job of organizing, and Alan, Elaine,
Mal and Joe are proud to be part of another community
awareness affair.
